Planter box: 20 in wide x 20 in deep x 12 in high (21-1/4 in over the corner legs), solid cedar. Post: 4x4 fir, about 8 ft — overall height about 97-3/4 in above the ground. Sold as a set of 4 matching planter posts. Delivered empty — set in place, then fill with soil; the post is screwed solidly into the box, and the filled box adds weight that helps keep it steady.

Built from solid incense cedar and a solid fir 4x4 post, joined with exterior glue, brad nails, and screws — no paint, no stain. Cedar is naturally rot resistant for outdoor use. The optional teak oil finish adds weather protection and deepens the wood's own natural color; the oil is clear and adds no color of its own.

Handcrafted to order with a standard lead time of 1–2 weeks. Free local pickup, or home delivery from your local woodworker priced by distance: $75 within 40 miles, $150 to 80 miles, $250 to 130 miles, $395 to 200 miles. If a delay arises, you’ll get an update with real-time progress.

Covered by a 30-day limited structural warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (misuse or accident damage not covered). Left natural, cedar weathers to a silver-gray outdoors. If you chose the teak oil finish, recoat once a season to keep the protection up.
You get 4 planter posts: quantity 1 is the complete set of 4. You do not need to order quantity 4 — one in the quantity box means all four posts.

Each planter is a solid cedar box with a tall fir post; fill the box with soil and plants and the weight ballasts the post. - Ballast: the post is screwed solidly into the box — a 2x4 bracket locks it in with screws, so the post is held by the build, not by dirt. The planters are delivered empty; set them in place, then fill with soil and plant — the filled box adds weight that helps keep the set planted
- String lights are not included
Each set is built to order by a local builder in our 37-builder network, matched to your area after you order. Cedar stock varies by region, so grain, color, and the final look of your planters may vary slightly from the photos — every set is built by hand to the same plans and specs.
Delivery & pickup: delivery is a flat fee by distance, calculated at checkout. Pickup is free at your builder's shop, or at another location you and your builder agree on. Made to order — your builder builds your set after you order.
