    Get paid for every completed build. Before you accept an order, you see the estimated payout for that build — calculated from the sale price (excluding collected tax), minus materials, payment processing, and a $100 company fee. No guaranteed percentages and no hidden extras. Plus, keep 100% of the $75 delivery fee and 100% of any customer tips on local deliveries.

    We supply detailed, step-by-step build plans, precise cut lists, and all necessary materials — delivered to your shop, or pick them up yourself and earn an extra $50 per build.

    Focus on your craftsmanship while we manage customer acquisition and central sales. Every craftsman starts with a free listing in our network, and as The Wobbly Carpenter expands into new regions, we roll out targeted advertising to help build demand in your area over time. Order volume varies by region and demand, and sales are not guaranteed.

We're growing market by market

From now on, most areas are waitlist-only. We are filling a few markets first. Right now we are actively adding builders in:

El Paso, TX · Washington, DC & Northern Virginia · Dallas–Fort Worth suburbs, TX · Salt Lake City, UT · Oklahoma City, OK · Atlanta north suburbs, GA · Las Vegas, NV · Nashville, TN · Columbus, OH

If your shop is in one of those areas, apply below — you move first. In every other area, if we already have a builder covering it, applying puts you on that area’s waitlist. Waitlisted craftsmen are first in line when a spot opens or we expand coverage there, and once our priority markets are filled we go back to the waitlist in order. If we don’t have a builder anywhere near you yet, apply anyway — new areas open as we grow, and the application is how you hold your place.

This list is updated as markets fill — when an area is covered, it comes off the list.

Grow the network with us — completely optional

The Wobbly Carpenter grows fastest when we grow it together. This is a network, and every builder in it benefits when more customers find us. The simplest way to help is to share the work: follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and once your own profile is live, share your landing page, the custom orders page, and photos of your finished builds on your own social media.

None of this is required, and it will never affect your application, your standing, or your orders. But every share puts all of us in front of more customers — including customers in your area.

Step 2: Download the Packet

Your packet includes the Craftsman Agreement, IRS Form W-9, and Builder Checklist. Download all three below, fill out and sign the agreement and W-9, then upload everything at once in Step 3 — your work photos are uploaded there too, not emailed separately.

The background check fee is covered by The Wobbly Carpenter from our share of the profit on your first sale, not yours.

Step 3: Upload Everything at Once

Upload everything at once: up to 4 work photos (no more than 4) of your own work (your own projects only), the signed agreement — every page, signature page signed and dated — a W-9 with one box checked in 3a, signed and dated (follow the W-9 instructions on the upload page), a clear profile photo of you (not a logo or shop sign), and a short bio, plus your shop city and ZIP. Please complete the checklist before submitting — incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Submitting does not guarantee a spot — every submission is reviewed, and we will be in touch after review.

Insurance is verified before your first build — $1M auto coverage for delivery driving, general liability, and workers' comp or the signed declination. First-order note: when your first order comes in, we'll need your insurance certificates (COI and any additional-insured endorsement) before work starts.
